Victoria is a Toronto criminal defence lawyer who represents individuals facing criminal charges before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.
Victoria earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, where she worked at the University’s Legal Clinic representing individuals charged with various criminal offences. Prior to law school, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Queen’s University.
Victoria has represented clients charged with a broad range of criminal offences including theft, fraud, assault, aggravated assault, impaired operation and other driving related offences, robbery, weapons and firearms related offences, sexual assault, sexual interference, luring, voyeurism, drug trafficking and murder. She represents clients at dangerous and long-term offender hearings, as well as not criminally responsible proceedings. Victoria also represents clients before the Ontario Review Board.
Victoria has a particular interest in advocating for individuals experiencing mental health challenges and helping them navigate the complexities of the criminal justice system. She recognizes that being arrested or facing criminal charges can be overwhelming and works to ensure clients feel informed and supported as they navigate their circumstances.
From bail hearings through trial, Victoria develops defence strategies tailored to each matter. She prioritizes clear communication and ensures clients understand their options at every stage.
