Nadeen is an associate at Lockyer Zaduk Zeeh. She articled at a prominent Toronto criminal defence firm where she worked on trials and appeals, including homicide, violent offences, drug trafficking, firearms offences, and sexual assault.
Nadeen earned her J.D. from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. She was a student caseworker at the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, where she represented incarcerated people in disciplinary proceedings and prepared clients for parole hearings.
Nadeen continues her legal research and scholarship, presenting work at conferences and co-authoring a publication in international law.
Nadeen also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Philosophy & Law from McMaster University. Her academic work focused on systemic issues in Canada’s criminal justice system and ensuring the law advances justice and protects individual rights.
