Jacob Roth is an associate at Lockyer Zaduk Zeeh. He practices criminal litigation, including bail hearings, trials, and appeals. Jacob defends clients charged with offences ranging from mischief to murder.
Before joining Lockyer Zaduk Zeeh, Jacob practiced for three years at a high-volume criminal defence firm in Toronto, with a focus on defending against sexual assault allegations.
Jacob received his law degree from the University of Toronto in 2018.
After graduating, he articled with the in-house litigation team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). At CAMH, Jacob represented the hospital in hearings to determine suitable measures for clients declared unfit to stand trial or not criminally responsible on account of mental disorder.
In 2020, Jacob earned a Master of Laws degree with high distinction from Columbia University in New York.
