Madeleine Ross is an associate at Lockyer Zaduk Zeeh. She represents clients at all levels of court, including at trial and on appeal.
Before joining the firm, Madeleine worked as an associate at a top criminal defence firm in Toronto and then at another boutique defence firm. She has worked on various matters ranging from regulatory charges and professional discipline to serious criminal offences. Madeleine has experience working on both trials and appeals in cases involving sexual assault, firearm offences, drug offences, and murder.
Madeleine earned her law degree from the from the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude. During law school, Madeleine worked at Justice Canada and interned with a criminal defence firm. Before law school, Madeleine received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Indigenous Studies from Trent University, where she graduated on the President’s Honour Roll and Dean’s Honour Roll. Madeleine also completed her Bachelor of Education at Queen’s University.
